Zaid's career spans dynamic roles in 'Uzalo' (SABC 1) and 'Spear' (Gambit Films), where he transitioned from supporting roles to Supervisor and Main Character Lead, under the direction of Sello Letsatsi, Sabelo Ndlovu, Fikile Mogodi, Kgatontle Mdleleni, and Musa Sithole. His versatility extends to projects like 'Impande' (SABC 1) where he portrayed a Pedophile Teacher, and 'Mr. Masinga' (Film) in a currently in production role as an Extra directed by Marc Engels. Additionally, Zaid served as the Creative Director and Producer for 'Reyka' under Harriet Gavshon.

Zaid pushed his boundaries in 'Koo Colour Your Plate' by Cardova Productions on SABC 2, featuring in the opening episode where he cooked with Koo products against qualified Chefs on TV. He further showcased his talent in the upcoming Netflix production 'Umjolo' portraying a Medical Doctor and the ongoing production 'A Love Like Bollywood.'
