Morag Steyn grew up between the bustling South African metropolis of Johannesburg and the lush, green open spaces of the Eastern Cape.

Morag has achieved a Degree in Somatology in 2007, South Africa (Isa Carstens, Stellenbosch) and multiple master level qualifications, in the Middle East and India in the fields make up artistry and hair styling.

Primarily Morag is an expert at creating signature, makeup and hair looks and truly unique, genre bending styles for her clients and productions.

In 2020 Morag was awarded “a woman who is trailblazing the fashion and beauty industry” and in 2019, she was honoured and recognized as a South African female “dominating the global fashion and beauty industry” by Glamour Magazine.

Morag’s passion is matched only by her ambition and drive to constantly evolve, for example her appointment in 2021 as Beauty Editor for Candy Mag as well as being an online content creator for a large variety of Asian focused online platforms. Morag also had her own beauty broadcasting segment on the highly regarded South African Podcast CliffCentral.

She purposefully imparts onto others and is helping to grow a new generation of professionals through her masterclasses in association with Professional Beauty, Makeup Week India.

In addition, Morag has worked on major motion pictures, such as “Ray” is an Indian anthology drama web series on Netflix created by Sayantan Mukherjee, based on the works of Satyajit Ray (released in June 2021) directed by Vasan Bala, as well as “Angelielna” (upcoming in October 2021) an Uga Carlini Film both Netflix Originals. "Sollividava" (released in 2018), directed by 'Action King' Arjun Sarja, and “1921” (released in 2018) a Vikram Bhatt film. She has also worked on a multi-award-winning hybrid film “Alison” (released in 2016) by Uga Carlini, hailed for its ground breaking stylistic bravery and unique visual realizations.
